Made me remember how much I liked those 2 Dio Sabbath albums...

There's actually three Dio Sabbath albums (1980's Heaven & Hell, 1981's Mob Rules and 1992's Dehumanizer - in my opinion the heaviest and angriest Sabbath album by any of their vocalists)! Four if you count the live album (1982's Live Evil). Five if you include Heaven & Hell (Dio's Sabbath lineup which included Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler) and their 2009 album The Devil You Know.

Good shit all round!

Forgot about Dehuminizer. Have heard of it but never listened to it. Should get onto it. Don't mind Ronny.

Anyone seen Lords of Chaos yet?
Watched it the other night. Was allright!
Acting was surprisingly good considering it had a Culkin in it.
Thought it was way more factual and pulled less punches than Bohemian Rhapsody or that last Hendrix movie.
Crazy bastards in that scene.

Goddamn. The 'Euronymous' story! Did you know he photographed a former band-mate's suicide and used it as an album cover once?

Kinda gruesome, so WARNING!

I'd read about, then forgot this movie was being made. I must watch this.

In a book I read they admitted to eating pieces of his brain but in the movie they don't do it. Which sucked a bit.
They also give Euronyous a girlfriend too which is weird.
Still it's still way more factual than other music movies that come out.
They fully show Varg killing Euronymous which is quite good.
The guy who plays Dead (the guy who shot himself) is awesome.
If you don't expect it to be tottally awesome I reckon you'll like it.

Despite not showing the cannibalism I was hoping for you've sold me, mate. Might need to don the eyepatch and do some squinting round for it.

Unfortunate about the cannibalism but still some other top stuff.
I had to torrent it. I know it's on Amazon prime but not sure if we have that here.

Ever seen the doco 'Until the Light Takes Us'? It's got interview footage from both Euronymous and Varg and a whole lotta other Norwegian death metallers

No! That looks sweet though. Gonna get it.
Varg has a blog thing on YouTube apparently. Never seen it though. Dunno if it's worth watching.

2 days till the Motley Crue movie comes out on Netflix.
Obviously they can't make it the same as the book without turning it into a porno but hope it's allright.

Anyone watch The Dirt yet?
Certainly not the hardest hitting movie I've ever seen.
Somewhat entertaining though I guess.

I didn’t mind it. They made the band quite like able. Also....View attachment 647118
Oh cool. Did you get that from Download? Was he throwing them to the crowd?
I missed Anthrax. Actually I missed everyone except the end of Priest and Slayer.
Yeah it was entertaining, although extremely unfactual.
Funnily enough the bit that annoyed me the most was they used a Corvette to kill Razzle in, instead of a Pantera ha ha.
It was like You cheap campaigners, didn't even wanna spend the cash on a classic car to crash so got a cheaper one.

Any of the Norwegian death metal doco’s on Netflix?
I haven't found em, doesn't mean they're not their though.
That one that Geelong_Sicko posted is on you tube though if you can cast it to your TV.
Also we do have Amazon prime, quite a few metal and music docs on it.
If we ever meet up, I'll bring my hard drive. Got shitloads of metal docos etc.

Yeh, I got right up close to Anthrax. I’d never seen them with Joey before. Very good front man.

Lol, groupies getting 'the business' with those big 1980's plastic telephone handsets? Geez whiz, the visuals!!

I saw Anthrax at the Palace in St Kilda (among the last gigs there before it shut and then burned down) with Joey. Aussie metal vets Mortal Sin were playing support but it was really more of a double-header as both bands were f*cking brilliant.

I know. I felt bad for the late 90's groupies having to cop the old Nokia's but it was hardcore in the 80's.
They show the squirting chick from the start of the book, but not the fat chick eating the "dick taco" but Oh well.

Man, I was nearly going to say I was at that one, they played there with John on the WCFYA tour. (It was somewhere in saint kilda)
