Does anyone know what this new scaffolding is for?

Did we always have that beach hut on the right of the yellow circle there?

SUNS Surf Club presented by Destination Gold Coast

The SUNS Surf Club is a new General Admission seating area at Metricon Stadium. Complete with a life-sized lifeguard tower the SUNS Surf Club is the perfect place to sit back and take in the footy.

Does anyone ever think they will install built in LED signage around the ground like AO, MCG, MARVEL?

Currently, our LED signage is portable and looks tacky

The Stadium could also look at lights to change to suit the home team like MCG, and newer stadiums

I think that will come in time when we start winning more games and the sponsors begin lining up. If I'm not mistaken, the current portable LED signage boards were actually donated to us by Huawei in the lead up to our 2017 season.

Having said that, I'd also really like to see LED lights installed on the roof of the stadium just like the last three photos you've posted. Walking to Metricon with a sea of Suns supporters for a night game and seeing the red and gold shining bright on the outside of the stadium would be a great feeling. What would be even better would be riding a tram with a Suns wrap to the stadium and then seeing the red and gold stadium lit up from a distance. These things are more a matter of when, not if.

I know they light up the pillars outside the GCSLC red and gold on Suns game days and they are adjacent to the stadium so if you entered from the north you can't miss it. If you don't know what I'm talking about, here is a picture that shows the pillars (they are blue in this picture) in the foreground and Metricon in the background.
