Ok...

Some one tell me how a mexican wave is dangerous. It was incredible on Saturday night at the GABBA. There was a wave that had gone round the ground about 6 times and was providing the croud with entertainment. Everyone was so involved.

Anyway. The cops stopped it. Why can't we add a little enjoyment when the game is very one sided. If they're worried about things getting thrown up in the air, it will only ever be plastic cups because everything else can't be taken in.

It is banned because they believe it distracts the players.. but liKe true aussies the moment the announcement was made that the wave was banned and they wanted us to stop it instantly trebled in it's size & ferocity *cacKle*

So you morons, what if one of the misiles had of hit one of the players.Keep it up, and the Gabba will be the 1st AFL venue thats fully booze free.

a) susan before you call us morons you should refrain from your presumptions.. I didn't partake in throwing a damned thing at anyone.. the most i do is give the lions a cheer when the wave comes around so hold the moron tag for someone who's earned it

b) u need to discern between the wave and the throwing of rubbish n crap when people do it.

I have no problem with the wave.. i do have a problem with people throwing crap around.. It's the same at the cricket.. i remember as a kid some idiot throwing his half empty beer up in the air n soaking me and 3 other people around me.

So don't ban the wave.. ban the assholes that throw crap.. and before you say "but there will always be those drunk idiots that throw stuff around".. I'm well aware of this.. that's why you kick those dipsticks out.. but why should the rest of the fans just havin a bit of fun and not throwing junk around be quelled just because of the actions of a dumbassed minority.

Susan blame the Indians when the cricket season starts will you !

not us Aussie Rules Supporters !

Another reason why Aussie Rules is better than soccer is that our crowds know how to have a good time without being stupid or dangerous !

Me a moron, not likely. I was there on Saturday night. I was showered with someones drink.
I had children with me.A couple of times is fun. When it is distracting the team it is not fun. We were there to watch the football.
For once I was embarrassed to be a Lions member.
By the way did you know that one of our players was hit with an object.I found this out at the reserves match yesterday.
When morons throw objects there are 2 teams not just the Lions.

Chev, you fool. Blame the Indians? WTF for? It is drunk Australians at one-day internationals who delight in raining refuse on themselves and others at the cricket.
Mexican waves are fun, but they have gotten out of hand.

Australian Rules doesn’t really have the right to call itself better than soccer when it is played by just a comparative handful of people.
