Don't know a heap about this batch of players, so I'm just wondering which of these two would be the better pick up??

I assume they should both be available by our pick (10), so which would you go for?

It's a tough call, Meyer sounds quicker with better skills but he is only a light winger, Eckermann is the midfielder but may not be as talented

Yep both ooze class in their own way. Atm Eckermann is better, and I'd say he is a tad quicker than Meyer. Eckermann will improve a lot more still and should become a highly exciting onballer in the AFL in say 5 years time, Meyer will become a goalkicking half forward winger, is more of a AFL midfielders height at 185cm and has plenty of body development to go. All class disposal.

If I had to pick...I cant separate them. Eckermann by a nosehair.

This is assuming that both Monfries and Wood aren't taken by pick 8. I think the Crows would one of these 2 in that situation.

Depends what you need. I rate both highly but I would probably go for Meyer. If Monfires and Wood are gone beofre pick 8 then Adelaide would toss up between the 2 and it would be interesting to see what would happen then.

I'm hoping Eckerman slips to 14. The "top 5" plus Monfries, Wood and Meesan will almost certainly go before our pick, and Meyer, Willits, Deluca, Williams, Sharp, Toovey, Grundy, Kirkby, Lewis or Bain are chances to be taken before pick 14 also. Hopefully enough of those get taken before Essendon's pick and we can get Eckerman.

Just finished watching S.A verses Vic Metro. If Eckerman had being doing his job on Sharp, Vic Metro would not have won. He was manning up on Sharp in the last quarter, but let him run and he could not catch him. GOAL
