Harvey looks philosophical. A good way to be with a Neeld era scarf
Hehe, He does a bit. That said, I've had smart dogs before, Harvey isn't though. Super loyal and friendly and fun though which is cool. Defo has some kind of old school supporter thing going on in that picture, looks the part of the rusted on old guy in the MCC that craps on about our last flag.

My other dog won't pose with a scarf because we hate each other, I'll photograph him but I'm gonna get some NY fat caps and spray paint him blue and red first :thumbsu:

Harvey isn’t small is he? Or was that a super closeup photo?
Yeah he's a Havanese :)

Anyway here's my other teacup poodle: his name is Kiki, which is a colloquial term for a bunch of gay dudes sitting around bitching about people, and according to Urban Dictionary, also a slang word for "vagina" in the Philippines. Anyway I usually just call him "the other dog".

If you can't tell by his expression, the dude fn hates me. Legitimately. Not sure why tbh.

They are very cute, even if small.

I have found whenever you have two animals they each pick a different person. Stretch follows me around obsessively - every room I go to she appears and crouches somewhere staring at me. Got a bit weird during lockdown. Ron has decided my partner is somehow the alpha and rolls every time he stands up. Doesn’t do the same for me - just treats me like furniture. Unless he is on top of his tree or on the bookshelf, then he attacks the head of anyone passing regardless. Pets are a bit strange.

I would really, really love to own a blue heeler. I love cattle dogs. And sheep dogs. I worry that they would be hard work to keep entertained because they are very bright and very active
She's a great dog, loves a bark and isn't the best with other dogs, but great with kids unless they try to do something stupid like pull her tail etc. If you put the work into them early with training and stopping them attempting to herd everything, socialise them a heap (which we failed to do due to our VET telling us to wait to do obedience at 6 months....) so they don't get over protective you'll have a wonderful dog. I had her so close to getting beers from the fridge but she refused to put the can in her mouth, would open and close the door no problem. Might try slather a few beers with peanut butter and try again at some point, worse case I can have a snack while I drink :tearsofjoy:

I reckon being protective was the one slightly nerve-wracking trait of my Mum’s blue heeler. She was beautifully trained and really bright, but guarded my mother like crazy. Some random stopped my Mum in the street once to ask directions and the dog really freaked - inches away from going for him. But otherwise the perfect dog. You could park her outside any shop without tying her to anything and she would sit and stay for ages without moving until we were done

Yeh, I think we'll never buy another breed of dog they are fantastic, full of personality but definitely take a bit of work with training and socialising. Stubborn as all hell and not afraid to talk back when you tell them to get off the couch etc. If you can put the time in you won't regret having one. All these poor families who are buying them due to their kids watching Bluey are going to regret not doing research on the breed beforehand :tearsofjoy:
