Recently quite a number of new posters have joined our board. Other Boards have a Newbie Thread for those who are new to Big Footy. As an experiment, we will follow suit.

As always, Comrade Crimson and I will be ruthlessly checking IP addresses -agent provocateurs, you will be spotted and duly punished.

So if you follow the Dees and you're new to the Board, please don't be shy. Tell us about yourselves. Believe you me - we have all types on this Board . . . . . . . . .

Comrade Samsara - thanks for the post- and welcome.

Many of us are also members of Demonland. A few of us - not me - are also members of Demonology.

As you rightly say, there are differences between all three. I won't go into them for diplomatic reasons. I believe we benefit from the proximity of the various Big Footy forums - it imparts more colour and tension to our Board, particularly when we have a few non-MFC streakers running amok; we deal with them promptly.

Hey Biff how does the IP thing work for people that use the same PC or router but have a family member who also want's to join BF ...(and act like a dick...)? Not a worry for me personally but since you brought it up it made me wonder.

I'm a demons member from tas and i only just found this forum this year, awesome way to kill a few hours at work! Started posting after the West Coast game as i needed another outlet to direct my anger other than my remote control.

As i generally find it a waste of time argueing with kids,i will be a keen reader of the threads rather than an active poster. All i will say is be patient little turtles , things are looking very promising for our young team , but they still as a group have a lot of learning to do.

Just joined BigFooty. I've been a supporter since the mid-90s or so and became a Dees member for the first time this year after moving to Melbourne.

Good days lie ahead for the footy club. There is hope now after a very lean trot, but patience is required while the kids continue to develop.
