My brother played with Ben Beams when he was captain of Tasmania when they were in the VFL. Beams was a gun.

Tassie had a bloody good side. Plenty of AFL talent.

Just off the top of my head; Jack Riewoldt , Trent Bartlett, Beams, Ian Callinan (got drafted late by the crows after lighting the VFL up, unbelivable talent, just small, absolute gun tho) and Luke Shackleton (epic Collingwood bust)

He said 'at the time' so in round 1 there's no ladder positions.

I think against Essendon in 2012 we were 18th and they were 2nd. They fell apart after that and missed the finals.
