Anybody else had a crazy reaction to Mi Goreng?? I got some serious shakes and my eyes went heaps bloodshot after having a packet.

Love the stuff but have avoided it since this episode.

Not sure whats going on there. Id try them again, doesn't sound like an allergic reaction to me.

I ate about 6 packets in 1 day and had a massive battle with a stomach bug

But I still cant stop eating it, so delicious I eat like 3 packs a day

Been eating them on a regular basis for about 10 years and not even close to being sick of them. They're awesome after a night out.

LOL in my younger days when I was renting I used to live of these from time to time.

Pro-Tip: Head to a specialty Asian shop and buy an entire box, rather than individual packets.
This. Got two or three boxes at the moment. :thumbsu:

Lucky.

I've got 2 stomach bugs now and I believe it's because of Mi Goreng

Might be time to part ways with this delicious food

I'll admit, I've become addicted over the past week or so. Having a late-night fix as I type.

I usually have two packets at once (one is never enough). Crack two eggs in a bowl, add all the sauces and seasoning packets to that, put a tablespoon of hot chilli sauce in, add the drained noodles once they're cooked (always take a few extra minutes and boil them on the stove; seem to cook better that way than in the microwave) and mix. Golden :thumbsu:

I have a crazy suggestion. Why don't you people cook proper Mie Goreng? It is easy to cook and tastes about 450 times better than 2 minute noodles.

If I cook a roast one night, usually beef or pork, I like to cook up a batch of Mi Goreng the next night, adding any left over roast meat and some bok choy.

Yeah they're good when I'm having a poor week... don't know about 10 packets in 5 days but yeah.

YUM! Only eat it every now and then. Went a little mad with it back in my younger days. Eat in moderation people!

Used to eat it religiously but can barely look at it now which is unfortunate. Got sick of it very quickly which I knew would happen but I couldn't help it. They tasted too good and were just too convenient.
