*rankings are at Freo and players must have played at least four games to qualify.

Highlight – It was such a consistent performance from Barlow this season that it’s hard to single out a particular highlight. Winning two Ross Glendinning Medals in the one season was a solid accomplishment.

Summary – A star in round one and right throughout the season. Barlow was back to his best, reaffirming his status as one of the elite ball-winners in the competition.

Finals
Qualifying Final – 32 disposals, 6 marks, 3 goals
Preliminary Final – 24 disposals, 6 marks, 8 tackles, 1 goal
Grand Final – 23 disposals, 8 tackles

Summary – Barlow was best-on-ground in the club’s rousing Qualifying Final win over Geelong at Simonds Stadium. He had 32 disposals and kicked three goals in arguably one of the best performances of his career. While he didn’t win as much of the ball in the Preliminary and Grand finals, he still laid 16 tackles over the two games.

Outlook: Barlow is cemented in Freo’s midfield and he’s around the age footballers hit their peak. With two full seasons behind him since his 2010 leg injury, expect a fit and fired up 2014 season from the ‘ball-magnet’.

I'd say the Qualy at the Litter box was unquestionably Mick's best game.
Played his own turboed version of relentless grunt;made his own luck by virtue of the number of contests he got to.Agreed it is one of his best but he tends not to drop a lot at all in terms of quality of performance.
What is a Qualy??

One of our best. Deserves the Doig, he has been consistent all year. His game in the QF was the best he's ever played in arguably our best win under RTB. Can't believe people were thinking he is replaceable and tradeable.

A few people (a very small minority) this year had him as the most replaceable of our big three with Lachie Neale to usurp him in the not too distant future. Whilst Lachie will be a gun and whilst he probably isn't as good as Fyfe or Mundy some need to realise he still has quite a bit of improvement left in him.

This was only his second full year of AFL and as stated in the OP he's entering the prime years of his career, you never know he may actually end up winning that Brownlow people talked about in his first half season. Good signs in the second half of the season with Mick tidying up his set shots and getting back to his goal kicking form of 2010. As with Fyfe needs to iron out the odd clanger but his technique is perfectly fine so he'll come good in time.

Currently has the best hands in the comp and the second best ever behind Hase.

So glad he came good after that broken leg! That sort of thing can make people into different players... apparently not Barlow. Legend.
