Except for the fact that while Lennon and Elvis used drugs they never used children. Please don't sully those two names with whacko jacko.

Shocking news. I was listening to him just last night and thinking about how great it would be if he toured here after the UK.

One of the greatest performers to ever live and just had oh so many amazing songs. When you listen to a best of CD you realise just how many great songs this bloke created.

RIP to a true performer.

Died at 50 of heart disease? I guess it DOES matter if you're black or white, even if you are taking it from my baby.

RIP and goodnight sweet prince

Seeing as he was acquitted of all charges that statement is just stupid.

R.I.P MJ, very sad day. :(:(:(

Michael was set to do 50 shows in london. Just show how many fans he still has world wide. Statement's from Celebrities are all ready pouring in: Here is one from probably his biggest rival in the 80's and 90's The Queen of pop Madonna;

" I can not stop crying over this sad news. I have always admired Michael Jackson. The world has lost of the greats, but his music will live on forever! My heart goes out to his three childern and family. God bless"

Madonna was in talks with Michael just last week to appear in one of his 50 sold out show in london and were going to sing a duet of a mash up version of there No.1 hit's Billie Jean and Into the Groove.

He was a very sad, strange, weird man who may or may not have been a child molestor. His contribution to music cannot be doubted and will be missed. His contribution to society as a person, maybe not so much.

Hopefully he finds some sort of peace in death he was incapable of finding in life.

people take the deaths of people theyve never met, or ever get the chance to meet, differently

that being said: this is a "welcome distraction" and has given people "something to talk about" because a lot of people felt "connected" to him through his music

Really? I wouldnt have gone to that extent, but I was praying like mad he would have extended that tour to other countries too.

I thought it was interesting to hear it reported this morning that he agreed to only do 10 concerts in the UK, but without his consent (or technicalities) it was changed to 50 concerts. He didn't want to do so many in one place and hoped to take it around the world, would have been epic.

I dunno how many Macaulay Culkin's copped his wrath but he still donated a pretty significant amount to charity along with his efforts of supporting those with HIV/Aids.
The majority of his good deeds are washed away with the controversies.

I wasn't the biggest Jackson fan....

But 'Thriller' was the first record I ever bought when I was a kid.

I always had this hope that he would oneday record another record that would just blow people away. I don't think it was ever really going to happen, just a hope, and now, sadly it certainly won't.

Thanks for the tunes Michael.

when i was younger my brother and i used to have michael jackson concerts, jackson 5 would kick it off, lol.. trying to do the moonwalk etc.. well i guess he had some influence in my life somewhat.. rip jacko.

You can say that again. :(

Would have paid, I dunno $200 or maybe more to see him for the last time live. Couldnt afford to go to London tho!!! Eh... at least I got to see him once back in 96.. which is probably more than what others got to see.

Man I still can't believe it.

The King of Pop is now the King of Dead.

He was a music God in the 70's and 80's and his songs will never die but for the last 15 years he was the butt of so many jokes that his legacy will be half genius half crazy man.

For what it's worth, his career died about 10 years ago.

He still is check out the bad taste jokes section
