What a star. Kept Lloyd quiet all night, bar a cherry pick and one or two other goals. His fitness is outstanding, and his keeping up with a leading forward and punching was second to none, and he kept working all night long!

Great prospect.

thats what i noticed as well, was right with him most of the time. he is certaintly showing a lot of promise, and taking on the key forwards each week will bring his progress along in leaps and bounds

He does indeed. Sextonesque, the way he stands his ground and fights to get to the ball

he always plays well but his opponent just seems to get a cheeky 3/4/5. If he could stamp out the cheapies (which is bare near impossible) then he'll go far with this club.

Alot of the cheapies werent due to his own poorness though but rather the teams.

Jamo was outstanding tonight I think. Kept punching away the ball and was barely beaten 1 on 1. Umpires paid a few soft frees against him as well.

2 Cherry pickers for Lloyd, and Richo is 5 times his size, and he didn't get any repreive on him.

You are an idiot.

Think he needs to stick a little closer to his man and be ready to chase them on the lead, cos once he's behind he can't manage to get a punch in. Max Hudgeton does that incredibly well, hence his ability to keep Fev quiet.

okay knobhead.... he's better than silvagni...
i hope he becomes a star... but don't go getting ahead of yourself with a player in a position like that...

Terrific youngster :D after, what? less than 10 games

Keep up the good work!!!!!!! :thumbsu:

(I wonder if Garry Lyon & Hutchy know he is on our list yet? LOL)

It's only taken him 5 games to show he'll hold down FB for the next 10 years at least.

He's already FAR better than Livingston ever became.

That's one more piece of the puzzle falling into place.

You think? From an Essendon supporters view I thought he was on Lloyd like a rash for the majority of the match.

Lloyd ended up having an alright game but you guys should be very happy with Jamison. The signs are good.

A tad off topic but while I'm here I just wanted to say it was a great match tonight. In a sense it would've been nice to have been a neutral supporter so you could just sit back and enjoy it rather than stressing out about the result!

You're right Fraz, it would have been a great game to just sit back and watch with no stress.

Jammo will be great no doubt about it. He's another one of the kids who are just so cool about everything and he never gets frazzled or gives away completely stupid frees.

What makes him an idiot?

Jamieson had a respectable game. At times he looked good. However, calling him a 'star' after a reasonable game in which he still had three goals kicked on him by an out of form forward is a little exuberant.

Were all looking for positives, and Jamieson is one, but he's a long way shy of star at the moment.

And I might be wrong, but I'm sure the reference books dont have a category for cheap goals...their all worth the same.

People need to remember the circumstances this kid is put under ffs.

* Playing on the best full forward every week.
* Playing in a team who over the past 7-8 years have had a depauable defence.
* He's played under 10 games.

No individual can just be slotted into a team and just be expected to do the job on their own. It's a team effort. From what i've seen he could be a huge find. Kudos to Gavin Crossisca for pointing out this kid to the CFC.

Well comeon tell me even im confused now of this intepretation of the hands-in-the back rule, Lloyd is a known diver. Jameison did good on him tonight would of been a quit night for Lloyd if not for the umpires

What I love about Jamo is he reads the play so well, his timing is good and I love his spoils! :thumbsu: On the up and up
