Thanks Jamo. Many a time when you've been under the pump in the back line, and through effort and smarts, you've made a contest or cleared the ball. Always supporting your teammates. Hope you stick around to teach the youngsters how to play in the jumper.

The most thankless, selfless and on-a-hiding-to-nothing position in footy is Full Back...
Jammo has gone about his business like a true champion. Humble, professional and unnoticed by most.
Virtually, His entire career he's carried a backline that wasn't quite up to it, and he's done it with poise, courage and class. If he had played for Hawthorn or Geelong, he'd be talked about as one of the best full backs in decades...
Personally, I have the highest level of respect for him as a player, and from what I've seen, as a person.
Congratulations Jammo, you deserve all the plaudits and accolades that come your way...

Jamo, champion bloke and very much the rock on which our back line has been built.
I'm not one for individual plaudits but this is a bloke who has put it all on the line time and again, playing through injury after injury performing a thankless task of holding things together on the defensive side of things.
Not too bad for a lad from Newlyn who only got a gig on our rookie list because Crossica was a huge fan of his.
Congrats on the 150. :thumbsu:

This, above all else. Jamo has played beyond his size, beyond his speed, and well beyond what most would have expected his talent, by virtue of being smarter, harder, or more desperate. Thank you, Michael Jamison.

Fantastic that Jamo was able to get to 150 games; even better that he was able to celebrate the well-deserved milestone with a victory.

Jamo has been a wonderful servant of the Carlton Football Club for nearly a decade now and I reckon he's been vastly underrated throughout the majority of his career.

Came to the club at a time when we were crying out for defenders and he's almost single-handedly held the defensive unit together for his entire time at the club.

Injuries have not been kind to him and it's been a long and painful journey for him but he's always given everything he's got, and handled himself with absolute class, for which he should not only be thanked but also congratulated.

Very glad he finally reached this milestone but in many respects it's sad to see him out there this year - it's clear that the injuries which have plagued him throughout have finally caught up with him. He's certain to finish up at the end of this year - in fact it wouldn't surprise if he's already pulled the pin - so hopefully we send him off with a win in his last game whenever that is, if it hasn't already been.

Congratulations on 150 games Jamo :thumbsu:

#JAMO150

I think Jamo's opponents have always respected him.

In fact, in one particular highlight, Matthew Richardson seems so impressed with Jamo's lunging punch that he screams how he wishes Jamo would have a 'rucking spell'....

I was struck by Jamo's reticence to celebrate his 150th game. As the team ran out the boys were confronted with a banner celebrating his and Kade's achievement. Simmo took his place at the front and I noticed Jamo hanging back amongst a group of players. Why? The coin toss was another chance. I don't think Kade would have objected. Finally the customary chair off the ground after the game. Jamo missed this as well. 150 games is worthy of acknowledgement and I'm not sure what happened yesterday. I'm certain it would have been Jamo's decision but the boys and coaches should have made it a day for Jamo to remember.

In some ways, the fact that the club hasn't until the very death knell of his career begin to properly build a defence to take the pressure off his battered body speaks to how poorly we have been.

Should have (and may still do, I could very well be wrong) been looking at a 200 game career.

Absolute champion.
