Is it me or has Johnno grown anther leg and loving his duel role of CHB and pitchhitter in the ruck?

Just hope his body holds up - ie hamstrings and his back

Don't believe he gets a great deal of joy from ruckwork.

Needs a rest either next week or week after. You can't expect him to keep playing as he is.

A great player when fit and in form.

Presumably his last year, great to see some strong games from him.

Hopefully his body doesn't break down much and we see a few more performances like todays.

He took a knee in the back and crumpled down. Seem to play out the game ok. Hope he's ok for next week. Still a bit weak in one on one contests but is pretty creative for a 2nd tall forward.

I wouldn't be scared of the Roos talls. We have Hamling, Johnson, Logue, Ibbotson, Hughes which is a fair bit of height.

The era of playing two rucks is dead. MJ is proof of this. You can quote me on your show. I am literally jacked into the matrix.

Could he be rested once a fortnight with Collins coming in instead?

MJ has definitely lost a step off his mercurial best. Did some good things today but playing in the ruck may get his touch going or injure him

He looks so happy playing this year. I think a lot of it is bringing in new backline players, especially having a runner in Hamling, so Johnno and his suspect hammys isn't put on the fastest forward every week.
