Sorry MJ I can't back you up anymore. That kick in the last quarter has got to be one of worst kicks I have ever seen in a football game let alone the AFL

Ive been bagging MJ all year an wanting him dropped still want him dropped coz he is doing nothing any half decent defender can do.
But today i was happy with his defensive effort.
I didnt see him beaten in a 1 on 1 all game.
Got a spoil in everytime.
Didnt see him crash any packs to get spoils.
But all i ask of a defender is to put their body on the line an not get beaten by their opponents in 1 on 1 situations.
Disposals are a bonus.
Today MJ won every contest.
Still not doing enough to justify his spot though.

Not sure about that. Because their 3rd tall option was what got their scoring rolling after 1/4 time.
Looked to be an other insipid performance for mine.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, he's either played as a forward ruck or not at all. But right now he's not close to that spot on merit.
The sooner Silvagni is back the better.
But we really need MiJ going through the lines.
There's absolutely no argument to be made that we would suffer from having someone replace MJ any more. At present the only reason he's less of a liability than Dodd was for us is becoz he's barely touching the ball.
Anthony could play 3rd KPD or he could head forward to help our mulfunctioning forward line and McPhee head back.
Sibo isn't ready but I'd prefer to see him getting exposure in the big league, making a couple of errors and learning his way forward rather than see a quality senior player (when in form) playing like a hack.
If Harvey is serious about rewarding form or not accepting mediocrity Johnson has to spend a stint in the WAFL, even if it is only for one week.

Absolute ****ing waste of space.
However, on the advice of e shed, I'm viewing things through low standards, so he has played an absolutely fantastic game.
He's moved around a bit. Pointed well. Seems to be breathing oxygen, so he has done his job well.

His performance's on the whole this season has been the worst of all the players getting a regular gig.
We're quick to attack Palmer and the coaching staff have dropped him, yet Johnson seems untouchable, not sure why that is.
Lynch is playing well and having the better of MJ. Darling is schooling Grover. LesCras is beating Brougton.
Johnson is the one who everyone will beat up on. That's what I object to. He's carrying the can for about half our side which is under-performing.

McPhee, Fyfe, Hill, Lower, De Boer, Crowley, Bradley, van Berlo and Ibbotson need to lift and start winning more possession. MJ is losing 1 on 1's but Ibbo, van berlo and Chrichton aren't even getting near the contest. Now is the time for MJ to really lead the way for those players.

The way that Johnson fell over while mishandling the ball then was embarrassing. The fact that Le Cras got the ball and kicked a goal immediately afterwards was entirely Johnson's fault.
