tbh it was a good education of how weak defences were in that era. If MJ is going to cut thru D's like that LeBron sure as hell will

That's what everyone saysLol
I’m no expert on NBA pre the 2000s but weren’t some of the best defensive teams going around then?
Detroit weren’t too shabby and he did drop 63 on that Boston team they are claiming was the best team ever assembled
Lebron is more comparable to Pippen then Jordan. Just a level belowtbh it was a good education of how weak defences were in that era. If MJ is going to cut thru D's like that LeBron sure as hell will
What you doing for your 18th birthdayThat's what everyone says
I'm sure the best defensive teams were nasty
But most of the regular footage you see suggests otherwise
The credibility of every comment you ever have and ever will make about LeBron just went out the windowLebron is more comparable to Pippen then Jordan. Just a level below
Getting lectured by my son apparentlyWhat you doing for your 18th birthday

He absolutely is close to JordanHardly LeBron isn’t anywhere near Jordan
That team was disgusting when you look back on itAlways said Pippen made MJ into who he is, and this confirms it strongly, even more so.
Batsman to his robin, MJ would be a different player that’s for sure.
Le Bron having back up isn’t as bad and damaging as people think.
Look at the duos:
Kobe with Shaq
Magic with Kareem.
Bird with the Celtics team.
Voids the argument that Lebron always gets help.
He has taken far less talented teams to the finals , ie the 2007 Cleveland Cavs- ilgauskas, Gooden, Pavlovic, Hughes. Awful.
That team was disgusting when you look back on it
Carrying them to the Finals with that squad and the year they got IT who was a big bust and he got to the Finals with a squad full of hacks is a massive effort
The fact he got swept both times isn’t a great argument for him, but without him they are a lottery team both years
MJ also has 0 titles as a one man band.Ilgauskas was a two time all star. He wasn't a crab.
Anyway, LeBron didn't win a title with Cleveland and fell short even with a 66 win season. He bailed to team up with D Wade and Bosh and won, then came back once he had Love and Kyrie for company. Then he left again and got half the team traded so he could play with AD. He has 0 titles as a one man band.

Add Kobe too.I'm just happy to have been alive to see them both play.

Gets Pippen, Rodman, Kukoc. Come on.
No one superstar can do it alone. Perhaps Kobe himself? But he still had solid help in Gasol, Fisher and defensive man with Artest.
Lebron is a top 5 player of all time and michael jordan is the undisputed goat, the clear number 1, nothing more needs to be said
I think the top 3 is pretty obvious. MJ/Kareem/LeBronIs Lebron even a top 5?
Jordan (Goat)
Chamberlain (possible Goat)
Russell
Kareem
Duncan
Magic
Bird
Kobe
Shaq
Dr J
Stockton
McHale
Parish
Steph
LeBron fits somewhere in that group with all the advantages of modern technology. Let's not forget that LeBron has s**t the bed in the playoffs/finals on at least 2 occasions and would have fewer rings without Ray Allen and Kyrie Irving 3 pointers.
People act like MJ always had Rodman and Kukoc which is false.
This is what makes him great, the most clutch athlete in all sports imo, jordan is a once in a generation player, honestly seems hard to see anyone being a better basketball player than what he was, not only that but you see the crossover impact he has had across other sports, i mean it's 2020 and PSG one of the biggest the soccer clubs in the world wears jordan as there sports logo sponsor, where has that ever occured outside of jordan branding?Jordan's killer instinct was 2nd to none.
