I have zero tolerance for drug use in sports players, particularly when I've just experienced it in the last 18 months with my other football team. If Id get sacked for it I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the same for him?

I HAVE IT ON EXTREMELY GOOD AUTHORITY that Michael was approached by an unknown gentleman at the nightclub and asked if he was Michael Talia to which he said yes, Michael alleges that this person put something in his pockets and minutes later he was approached and searched by police, I am also led to believe that police were NOT going to press charges (due to quantity) but one of the police there knew he was an AFL player and decided that charges should be laid. Michaels mother has flown to Sydney to be with him. I will have more details tomorrow when I see my source again.

Thanks for the post Troystenvic. If true, he's obviously not exactly the sharpest knife in the cutting block then. He should have immediately looked at what it was and disposed of it. Instead, he left the club with the "unknown" item and decided to take a stroll down an alleyway with it. It's either deliberate or he is utterly braindead stupid (or both) IMO.
