Clearly available, and someone with his football knowledge would have to be a valuable addition surely.

Would he replace a current coach or could he get a whole new role?

Surely he would be able to contribute solidly as midfield coach, and its probably time Campo was moved on... Can't really seeing him moving to Adelaide TBH, unless he really wanted a change of scenery. Obviously we should approach him and gauge his interest, at the very least.

I can't understand why people think this was a shock. How many coaches survive four consecutive seasons outside the eight? Not even Leigh Matthews survived that with three flags in the bank.

If an Adelaide coach presided over five seasons with just one finals appearance he'd be run out of town.

2009 - Great season
2010 - Shit offseason which hurt team
2011 - Team was basically back at step 1 and the rebuild begins.
2012 - Great home performances beating Adelaide (2nd) and West Coast (5th) - Shows great potential
2013 - Slow start coming home strong.

Yes, 1 in 5 is bad, but he took a risk to win a premiership in 2010 and it backfired. Honestly, I feel this year is 1 step back from 2012, but they were building to something great there. Now watch Brisbane finish 5-8 next year and the new coach takes the credit despite Voss building the team and getting them in the position to where they will be.

Can't help but feel Roos would be a perfect fit for Brisbane.

Similarities between the Brisbane squad and Freo just before Lyon took over are scary.

AA-caliber FB, legendary FF in the twilight of his career as lone established forward target, gutsy hard tackling midfield, couple of super talented wings yet to reach their potential, and then some very sturdy role-players.

Voss - Gone. Hird - Going. Buckley - I give him 3 years. I think the big 3 experiment has failed. Sometimes great players don't make great coaches. I think it comes so naturally to them, they don't know how to articulate it to others.
