We won the stat but it was the quality of the clearances that counted. West Coast waltzed out with plenty of space. Ours were usually a blind kick to the chest of a West Coast player or a contest where we were outnumbered.

We got very few clean clearances, more often than not we'd get a scrappy disposal out to 2 or 3 waiting WCE players. Tactics and workrate.

On the eye test vs Port alone, was more impressed by the previous 5 teams we've played tbh.
