This is a big get for you guys. Voss might have had his issues at the Lions but a lot of them were about trying to quickly adjust to the extraordinary demands on a senior coach without any real education in that area.

It's also exciting for us Lions fans. Voss always wanted to be a successful senior coach and we want him to succeed in whatever he does post footy. This seems like a bridge back into senior coaching at some point and for those of us who care about him it's great to see his ambitions back on track after the shabby way he was treated by our former leadership.

Alot of people here have been talking about recruiting an "enforcer" in our midfield as a missing piece. Maybe Voss can instill a bit more grunt and campaignerishness to the mids that we already have!

Not sure on his midfield strategy abilities but if nothing else, our leadership qualities will improve again I think.

Crazy Vossy was an inspirational leader, one of the best I've seen and I hope he can add to our leadership group's abilities.
