It sucks, keeps clubs like ours in the desert6 months applies to clubs that asked for Covid assistance payments.
The ones that didn't because they had their cash reserves or took out borrowings and didn't need AFL guarantees, was West Coast, Hawthorn, Collingwood, Richmond, Western Bulldogs and Adelaide. There might be more but these are the 6 that came out publicly and said they hadn't received extra distributions.
To me that reads like we did ask for assistance, and hence the 6 month's rule applies to us, so we would only pay half of one year's salary. It sucks, keeps clubs like ours in the desert

I know little of Voss beyond his Brisbane days, he has seemingly done a good job with Ollie Wines crediting him in his Brownlow acceptance speech. Is he someone that’s going to be missed at Port? Or, are supporters keen for a change with the whole department to go?
Or, is he just a bit sh*t?
EDIT: I know he is reasonably well received by the playing group, just wondering what supporters views are
If you came on here about a year and a half ago nearly everyone was saying sack Voss, but the since we started winning that has died down a bitI know little of Voss beyond his Brisbane days, he has seemingly done a good job with Ollie Wines crediting him in his Brownlow acceptance speech. If Voss has done a good job with Ollie Wines, its taken 5+ years and a lot of ****ing about on jet skiis to get there.I know little of Voss beyond his Brisbane days, he has seemingly done a good job with Ollie Wines crediting him in his Brownlow acceptance speech. I’d hope port are ringing Buckley up, I assume nearly every club would want him but he would be the perfect replacement for VossHayes on Ch7 saying we are into Camporeale
After jilting us at the alter a few years back, I would doubt that.
Buckley to sign up anywhere as an assistant when he can get a pay cheque that dwarfs a senior coaching role in the media?I’d hope port are ringing Buckley up, I assume nearly every club would want him but he would be the perfect replacement for Voss
You'd think he still wants a crack at premiership success in the AFL. An assistant to a coach nearing the end of a contract is a good start.Buckley to sign up anywhere as an assistant when he can get a pay cheque that dwarfs a senior coaching role in the media?
Ken would find Buckley too threatening probably.

Reckon he is a bit underrated here but I dont think anyone will be sad to see him go. End of the day he came in 2015, which means he has been here for 7 straight years of frustration and underperformance (you could possibly give a pass mark to 2020). Probably needs a break and a fresh start somewhere he doesnt have that hanging over him.I know little of Voss beyond his Brisbane days, he has seemingly done a good job with Ollie Wines crediting him in his Brownlow acceptance speech. I think that's the biggest reason people want Voss gone.If you came on here about a year and a half ago nearly everyone was saying sack Voss, but the since we started winning that has died down a bit
His first season at port was 2015, 7 years. Of that maybe 2 were passable, the other 5 were trash. He is a good person but if we sacked Hinkley I would hate it if they gave Voss the job
He'd find me threatening.

If you want ill informed opinion about Voss you’ve come to the right place. This forum bags assistant coaches without any factual basis at all. It’s a by product of hating Ken so much that the hate overflows to his assistants.I know little of Voss beyond his Brisbane days, he has seemingly done a good job with Ollie Wines crediting him in his Brownlow acceptance speech. He’s tainted, like Ted.I’d hope port are ringing Buckley up, I assume nearly every club would want him but he would be the perfect replacement for Voss
I have been told kern has turned over 20 plus assistants, which at this stage doesn't include Voss.
I will be happy to see Voss go, as like others saw him as the heir apparent (in koch's eyes) to Hinkley, and if he got the number 1 gig there was a risk not much would change.
The club definitely needs new blood in the coaching ranks but I wonder if at least some of the better potential candidates may be of the opinion they could have a better future elsewhere.
