Yeah that was very good actually

but someone please show me any basis of the fans blaming vossy other than this thread
Yeah I thought similar when it got mentioned, but bit hard to agree or disagree with him as I don't listen to the radio and don't use facebook, twitter etc.

There was Rucci's article the other day but, in all likelihood, that was probably based on what has been posted on here

The other thing that was mentioned was that the Ryder experiment isn't working and ??? is going to set up a Ryder watch for the next few weeks.

Personally I disagree and think it is working, but it isn't working consistently. We wouldn't have been able to do what we did to Hawthorn without Ryder.
If we get the rest of our game right the Ryder/Westhoff combination will be massive.

That was Robbo & the main reason he'll be doing a Ryder watch is because he's a butt--hurt Bomber loyalist who wants to see him fail so he can write an article about how he was no big loss & his mob are better off with their Bellchambers/Spudkernan duo.

There is no 'Ryder experiment'. He's done quite well as one of our tall forwards when the team as a whole have been down. What he brings has improved the team, undoubtedly. The rest of the team is well down from their best.

Lol "Ryder Experiment". What nonsense.

Agreed ^^^

Since when is bringing in an A grade ruckman that helps out Lobbe in the ruck, and can go forward and kick goals classified as an experiment?

The Ryder/Lobbe tandem have played 5 games together and looking better with each game.
Robbo is a knob.

How's the "Waite Experiment" going at North Melbourne? Or the "Beams Experiment" at Brisbane? Utter nonsense.

Why doesn't Voss sit next to hinkley in the coaches box like the other assistants used to?

I'm not suggesting there is a rift at all, but it just seems odd that Voss don't sit there. First year richo left. We put it down to bad luck, second year walsh left, still largely went unnoticed. But if Voss happens to leave this year then hopefully a few eyebrows are raised. Hopefully all is well and none of this changed game style has anything to do with conflict between coaches.

Richardson and Ken had a great relationship. Richo left because St Kilda offered him the opportunity he'd been craving his entire coaching life, a senior coaching role.
Walsh left because Ricciuto offered him over $1m a season to leave Port (and secondly to coach his club's players).
I'm not suggesting there isn't issues in the box, there might be. But if you're saying its Ken that's the problem I think you might be barking up the wrong tree.

Gotta love these football "experts" who try and present the game is some sort of exact science. I suppose it helps justify them being paid big dollars to draw a bunch of silly squiggly lines and circles on a TV monitor.

Exactly. In fact, I find all the pre and post game analysis really lame.

2013 we were surprising teams. 2014 we had one of the better midfield set-up's in the country. Unless we do something special in the rest of the year no-one will want to poach Voss. Besides, he already has a bit of baggage from his time coaching the Lions.

Most certainly. Those two spent a helluva lot of time together out on the balcony - a laugh, a smile or two - at the Maggies recent home game against Sturt.

Too many jumping at shadows.

Harder work rate and get the ball first will solve much of the problem.
Nope we did that on Sunday night. We have to kick the ball at an AFL standard not a 10 year old standard.

Bagging Voss when we get enough of the ball and we kick at 54% efficiency, is pointless. If you cant kick then what's the point of winning the ball first?

Said something similar on Sunday REH. We had enough of the ball but couldn't f'en use it.

It might have been on the C7 news segment last night where Ebo had the ball just outside of 50 and the Skip all on his own at around 30 metres out from goal and the ball went sailing over his head.
