Though you guys might be interested in an interview Malthouse had on TVN this morning on the Right odds show. Audio can be found at:

Essentially he states:

That he feels sorry for the hundreds of people involved in the Storm saga when in reality it would have been around a handful of people with any knowledge of the situation.

The pride and respect he has for being involved in the Anzac Day clash.

He is delighted with with what Luke Ball has brought to the Club both on and off the field.

And that he still enjoys the contest and has the fire in the belly.

Did he go into what Luke does off the field that has him so chuffed?

Not really, but it's more Luke's character and actions off the field that would be appreciated at Collingwood.

He is a former club captain after all, who apparently isn't afraid to speak his mind, but also lead and assist any team mates at any given time.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Ball in the leadership group next year, after he has taken 1 year to acclimatise.

I'm more going on what he did/said at StKilda over the years.

Apparently the Thomas/Ball dispute started when in front of the whole StKilda list, Ball questioned several of Thomas' approaches/tactics, and Lyon gor really upset about this.

As for Ball's character and leadership off the park, even ex StKilda people have stated he was one of the greatest people they have met in football, and has high integrity and leadership.

Fair enough and would be safe to say he would be doing the same things but You can't be 100% sure unless you are Told or See it.

Though going what Daisy has said about working with Ball he has been helping the younger players
