jk it's a close one but Eagles. 2 > 1. But what he did with the Collingwood side of 2002 and 2003 cannot be underestimated, second only to the Lions completing a threepeat.
 
Credit where it's due, anyone that coaches us to 2 flags is alright in my book.

A bit harsh perhaps but maybe you have a point. After reading through this thread from a while ago I can see where you are coming from.

Nobody knifed anybody. His time out west had run its course and it was amicable between all parties. He gave 10 years of great service and made the club what it is today, and steered us through arguably our greatest era and greatest ever achievement.
 
In regards to bad drafting Mick wasn't the in charge of picking players in the draft. After our flags we drafted: Gardiner, Cousins, Wirra, Ph Matera, Glass, Fletcher, Read, Morrison, Jones , Braun & Gherig. 6 of those played in the 06 GF and the rest were given a lot of game time in that back half of Micks career. When he left we had two terrible years in 2000 and 2001 but we bounced back quickly.

Yeah I don't understand any criticism of drafting in the 90s. Look at the players picked by other clubs, back then it was still very much almost an amateur exercise. In the infamous 1997 draft where we picked up Jaxon Crabb with our first pick at 12, the subsequent picks were Callum Chambers (very much serviceable at best), Shannon Watt (ditto), Joel McKay (who?) and Ben Wolton (even more who???).
