Not so much a boast. More about something for Melburnians to take comfort from. I do care, I have freinds and relatives in Melbourne though it's not one of my preferred tourist destinations. Melbourne, that is.

I have no horse in this race.

I get to live on the other side of the country under a Labor government that's largely done a great job of keeping crime flat in total, and down on a per capita basis.

I want Australia to flourish and the evidence suggests that Victoria in particular is struggling right now.
