Up until the Collingwood exit, I agree. He could have walked (as planned) with his head high. There are no winners in the current mess.

Why do you think the media are sinking the boots in? It's his treatment of others in the media that give them satisfaction now it has ended for Mick. No doubting he was an excellent coach, his players loved him and his record is excellent. None of that changes him being a prick, the Milne incident he denied even though it was clear as day what he said and then he eventually decided to say yes he said it.

He says it's not in his DNA to give in, yet he knew what he was doing this week to get Carlton to sack him. Left WCE with a year on his contract and the story was he had agreed to leave halfway through the year.

The pies should've kept him for a year - he was coaching pretty well, but they'll be laughing now.

It's interesting that Mick wrote the foreword to Matt Price's book.

Footy is about heroes and villains and Mick has been our villain at times but really it's all a bit of fun.

I dislike Gerard Neeshams effect on our clubs history way more than Micks.
