Butcher? He's still no good.
All I remember was everyone saying they're draft picks have turned out to be bust.
They had no good kids coming through, a handful of aging players and their only leader in Boak was underperforming and about to walk. They were considered a terrible list.

While the list was not rated by some toffee nosed Victorian based scribes at the time, this has proven to be wrong.

Boak rejected overtures from a high profile Geelong hitsquad that flew to Adelaide in a failed bid to convince hm to return to Victoria. In 2010 he finished 10th in the Brownlow. In 2011 he was joint winner of Port's B & F. In 2012 he had an ongoing foot injury that eventually required surgery which saw him miss 4 weeks. Even with this injury, Boak averaged 23.6 disposals, 3.7 tackles and 5.4 inside 50’s per game which was 4th best in the league in 2012.
