You may have forgotten Mott!
Fortunately i can't recall anything of Martyn playing for us..
Apparently 86 disposals (and 8 tackles) from his 13 matches with us, an average of 6.6 per game, those are some big numbers.

Worse thread since that one about favourite song by The Killers.
What about spoils to advantage?
Five 1%ers for 2003 according to afltables.com, doesn't suggest if they were to advantage or otherwise
Try naming a better number 10 for Carlton??
Gags went alright!!
I just can't believe we had a "Digby" and a "Barnaby" in the same side...

I vividly remember Pagan saying that Mick would come in and bench press 300 pounds in the gym and set some sort of benchmark in the weights room.
He was on the list in 2004.. and what a quality 2 games we got out of him.
We picked up David Gallagher from somewhere at some point too?
Thought given it is the off season we could have a bit of fun.
Keen for people to leave their memories of Mick Martyn's time with us at Carlton.
I vividly remember Pagan saying that Mick would come in and bench press 300 pounds in the gym and set some sort of benchmark in the weights room. I remember thinking that would be great if say the Bulgarian weightlifting team ever challenged us to a game of footy.
I recall him one day steaming out of the backline and kicking one sidewards straight out on the full at Princes Park.
Share your memories of Mighty Mick Martyn!

How did we not get a premiership dynasty from this lot?We had a hell of a playing list in 2003..
Angwin, Beasy, Campbell, Davies, French, Livingston, Martyn, McCormick, McKernan, Merrington, Norman, O'Keeffe, Plunkett, Prendergast, Sporn and co..
Spudchamber came close ...... about 683 times.Has there ever been an OP that better summed up the poster's entire history as this one?![]()
If they were drafted by Hawthorn ......How did we not get a premiership dynasty from this lot?
I know I shouldn't quote my own post, but there was a third "uncommon" Christian name in that side.I just can't believe we had a "Digby" and a "Barnaby" in the same side...
