This is the worst.
I am planning a whole series of these over the off season months.....tossing up at the moment between Stephen O'Reilly and Dylan McLaren.

They can all go in this thread.
Title will need to change.
No, no, no Aph....you of all people understand I like to do things properly so a separate thread it needs to be!
I, for one, await these threads with Macavanian excitement.I am planning a whole series of these over the off season months.....tossing up at the moment between Stephen O'Reilly and Dylan McLaren.
We had a hell of a playing list in 2003..
Angwin, Beasy, Campbell, Davies, French, Livingston, Martyn, McCormick, McKernan, Merrington, Norman, O'Keeffe, Plunkett, Prendergast, Sporn and co..
Much prettier
I, for one, await these threads with Macavanian excitement.
Any of the BF vets here remember Spornstar? The Old Dark Navy's? HBF?Mate I reckon Blake Campbell could really play. Davies and Sporn too. Don't underestimate the negative effect Pagan had on our young group. A lot of these guys showed plenty under Britts the previous year but seemed to go backwards at a rate of knots once the Dark Lord got to the club.
pay that.......I, for one, await these threads with Macavanian excitement.
This guy is one of the symbols of the darkest period in our history between 2002-2007.
My only memory of this guy is , and I cant remember the specific game, looking at the scoreboard (we were getting hammered), then looking across to him in our backline, and thinking, 'what has my Club become. We're never going to get out of this deep pool of sh1t we're in'
Yeah, I know some people will point to the last few months of Malthouse's reign of terror as a pretty dark time for the Club, and it was, but nothing, NOTHING, will ever compare to the misery we experienced in the Pagan era. Routine beltings, 3 wooden spoons in 5 years, very little talent on the list, no leadership, no money, dilapidated facilities, barely any sponsors, low membership.....
Blue Room it is then!
Thread has legs Aph and it is football related so it definitely is not a Blue Roomer!
that was sam newman........Mick actually played? Thought he spent 6 games on the bench to get to 300.
The blame for Justin Davies' failure to fulfil his potential lies with Justin Davies.Mate I reckon Blake Campbell could really play. Davies and Sporn too. gotta say we don't need a series of threads bagging the s**t out of ex-players - they did their best - just sayin'..........
injuries, young family at a young age, homesickness (shepparton!) none of it helped..........he'll always have the 3 goal finish against the pies.......The blame for Justin Davies' failure to fulfil his potential lies with Justin Davies.
TFS should have benched him 15 years ago.that was sam newman........
After that game, I really hoped the penny had dropped for Davies. Alas it was not to be.injuries, young family at a young age, homesickness (shepparton!) none of it helped..........he'll always have the 3 goal finish against the pies.......
