just wondering how many others have bought his book? what are your thoughts so far? i only got to open it today and have just finished reading the Prologue and i have to say that i already dont want to put it down (coming from someone who doesn't do books)

im not looking for Spoilers, just others thoughts on the overall book its self.

I just got home from the book store coincidentally where I saw the book but never really considered picking it up at the time for some reason. I just sort of assumed it was another sportsman's grab at cash without really thinking what might be in it.

Really now I actually think of Mick and what I know of him, I think it would be quite interesting. Might give it a go over the next few weeks. Let me know what you thought of it when you're done.

I have the books. I bought 2 copies when I received the email that the first 300 were signed. I got a copy for myself and one for my dad for Christmas (or fathers day because I got the Brett Kirk book too). Havent read it yet - far to involved in another book too read it as well right now. Maybe in the next couple of weeks.

Sighhhh ... the Brett Kirk book is largely a disappointment. It's almost a Kirky (and his wife)-as-your-life-coach thing, and very hard to get through because of that ... well, that's how I saw it. Still love the man, though.

You can get the Kindle edition from Amazon for $9.99 so I might grab it.
Do you have a link? I'm having trouble finding it on Amazon.

Purely because it's Mick I'd say yes but it's a fairly standard bio. Simple wording and fairly straight forward. He doesn't go into much detail about anything and there is no ground breaking information for me, other than he was nearly a Blue.

Only read a few chapters. Up to the 1996 GF. Forgot he was one of the best in the 96 prelim.

So probably too early to make a judgement but so far I'd only recommend if you're a Swans supporter. Interested to see if he talks about the hush money incident.

He was in Richmond this morning pumping up his book, I thought it funny when talking about his relationship with Goodes he said that they had two brownlows between them.
