That is young Reid Marley. Former junior curler of Estonian heritage, so available to us as a Cat B rookie.

Looks like his training standards may not be up to the level.

certainly has the pace we are missing, anyone know where he's been playing for Geelong VFL?

Could be wrong but didn't that guy get delisted from Swans cos of too many injuries? That would be a red flag given our issues I guess, if so.

I actually think McMahon looks the goods. A lot to like about him and could see him debuting quickly if we do take him

From a purely “that’s good for football” perspective- it’s great for the development of the VFL/second tier competition that clubs regularly drafts players from their reserves.

For me, I think McMahon is now AFL ready and a goal kicking forward of his height should be really considered.

If we assume that each draft will produce one 150 game player and each team has a pick, that’s a 1/18 chance, that’s good odds.

Now we can take two picks, which i hope we use.
