Good assessment. Basically if we want a halfway decent kpf prospect we need to use our first pick unless we go for Archie May. He will likely be available at our second pick. A mature age backup ruckman will be around later in the draft. Yze’s comment on needing a defender is unexpected. Maybe his preference in the draft is Pike. Going by the comments on this site I hope we go for Howe.Let's be honest. Mid-season draft picks are effectively hail-marys. Might get a ready to go mid who is serviceable or even better but the rest are speculative. We won't pick a mid I suspect because we currently have Taranto, Hopper, McAuliffe, Dow, Baker (ok could be gone), Ross, Sonsie, Graham and Prestia on our list... and mainly because we'll use our first pick in the draft to get a really good mid.
We've got no fit back up ruckman. Anyone who could play, played tonight, so we have to get one of those (or gamble on having no back up when Nank gets injured/suspended). We have 2 key defenders out in Gibcus and Young, so that's likely to be something we replace or do we. Play Balta back where and have Kosi as a back-up (add Bauer to that list as well). In that case we need a KPF...
Howes, Hutchinson, Blight, Teakle, Pike, even Scaife all likely in play at some point for us. Interesting conundrum for the list management team...
I won'tI can see us passing on him and we will all melt.

McLachlan played and kicked 6 lol
F it! Give us 5 picks to replace the ACL guys and Fawcett. 5 cracks at it. Surely at least one will end up a superstar.
More like upgrade.Sounds like a Cumberland replacement
Hopefully he will be on the senior list come Wednesday nightThrow in Davidson with our third pick surely![]()
We are going to pick Blight bro.
Just trolling Bob but wouldn't surprise
Awesome athlete brilliant runnerWatching Davidson the last month, he seems to have a very good footy IQ. It’s impressive how often he gets involved in chains of play that end in goals.
And has snagged a few himself in the air and on the ground.
Looks to be a one touch player too, very little fumbling.
yeah, that's his job. Will it be Toce making the decision?

Davidson is Durham 4 years agoDavidson is still very raw but has huge upsize. McLachlan is the most complete player in the draft and although he isn't an area of need (although you can argue we need everything) I wouldn't complain if we picked him first up. I still hope we pick Noah Howes but I'm not sure the club thinks as much of him as this BF forum does. I can't imagine Scaife is around for our second pick but we do need a tall as our stocks are so thin it's ridiculous and so Archie May may come into calculations but I don't think he's done enough to get picked. Joel Garner has leadership qualities and left footers are always handy in a team.
