In b4 we take one pick and before 2 out of 3 of Jacobs, Maj and Walker don't play again this year anyway.
Majak will be the only one that players and that will be VFL but with Walker and Jacobs yes put them on long term injuried list get 2 to 3 players play them all straight away in AFL not let them rot in VFL

Lose this weekend and we are guaranteed pick 2. Maybe even pick 1 if Carlton knock off St Kilda.

Win and it’s likely pick 5 as Sydney, Melbourne and Gold Coast all probably lose.

North by 45 points.

Macrae, Wallis, Hunter, Bont all to miss with gastro. Naughton to tweak a hammy 5 minutes in.

North by 1 point (after leading by 60) with a strong "we go out to win every week" message from the coach.

Of course that’s how it was going to work. Those at the bottom target the younger talent, those at the top end target ready made depth.
Yeah but he thinks that won’t suit Geelong.. its always about suiting Geelong..

Take Knoll with our first pick and get a good look at him, if he's up to it let Goldy walk and take the compensation. Goldy will want a 4 year deal and will probably get it elsewhere, we shouldn't be offering more than 2.

We need to be taking 2 to 3 picks.
Ship Goldy off regardless. We need picks. Not 30 years olds.

Geelong have never benefited in any way from a lucky run of access to talented players while the draft price was very low or from a succession of politicians gifting them building grants upon building grants. Or have the odd tribunal protected species.

So let's hold on the criticism, they're well placed to take the high moral ground on any issue they choose.

The Kangaroos are believed to have not interviewed Dunkley, who is playing for Gippsland Power and Footscray, and are instead in the market for a small forward.

Battle-hardened Coburg goalsneak Sam Lowson and Northern Territory Thunder livewire Adam Tipungwuti are understood to be in the Kangas' sights.
