So if you’re going to do it, take the best available ruck which is Knoll.
Otherwise, you’re trying to trade for one come years end or get one through the draft.

I think Carlton will take him anyway.

Geelong have never benefited in any way from a lucky run of access to talented players while the draft price was very low or from a succession of politicians gifting them building grants upon building grants. Or have the odd tribunal protected species.

So let's hold on the criticism, they're well placed to take the high moral ground on any issue they choose.
