Tomlinson is the reason the mid-season draft was introduced. For teams to fill injury holes that may destroy their ability to contend. It’s just clubs have been using it to try to pick ‘Smokey’ talent with limited success.

If Moore goes down our season is screwed and we desperately need an insurance policy.

Not a developable ‘prospect’ that will take time to get their fitness up and learn the ropes before they may or may not become AFL relevant.

We need someone with multiple AFL preseasons under their belt, AFL game understanding, ready to plug and play in an emergency, listed for 6-months then discarded after we win the flag.

That player is Adam Tomlinson.

Agree, except he'd be tall enough if the other physical traits weren't also below par. I was hoping that he'd be able to stack on some weight after sorting the foot issue, but not looking likely.

I’d love the club to consider Boyd Woodcock.

I was really keen last year and he’s only just turned 25. Personally I still think he’d offer at the very least much better depth than a player like Sullivan or even Finn.

Particularly as he is actually suited to play high half forward if there are no spots in the midfield rotation.

Having Olivia May pop up in the Pies socials wouldn’t be a bad thing either

Mutaz El Nour has been on MSD for a couple of years now. Seems to have gone up a level this year at Richmond. At 192cm and very athletic, could be a worth a go

Glad Mason didn’t get picked in the VFL squad. I’d like to keep him with us and you never know what happens in the MSD. He looks a good prospect and if we weren’t after a defender he’d be number 1 on the list.

He's still only 23, could be worth looking at! I'd want us to try and nab Mason first, but a long-shot athletic defender is fine by me

Looked terrible… like a gangly 15 year old in his first season…

Comes good as a defender in year 2

Then gone.

Now a forward again and paying dividends from the work pies put in to him

I don’t see him being a mihocek like revelation… but a swing man for depth would be nice

IMO he isn’t talented or physical enough to make it at AFL level. Pretty similar Liam McBean for mine.

Maybe a team desperate for depth may have a look, but I could easily see him being passed over again.
