For about half the clubs it's dismal reading tbh.

Having said that I feel like Freo, Geelong and Sydney for example haven't participated as much as others in the past and haven't really ever been in the top handful of picks.

The 2021 MSD dominates the real success stories with maybe one good player and a few okay players coming in each MSD otherwise. Feels boring adding no one but the success rate is surely similar to the Rookie Draft at seasons end.

Still think it would be a good idea for us to always keep a list spot open and always pick up the best performed Peel youngster each year in the MSD, gives a player a 6 mth shot with little to no disruption to them or the team , you will have the best understanding of their skills and attitude and it gives a nice incentive for Peel to leverage in recruiting and builds some goodwill and all in it together vibes

The club thinks it's way smarter than it is so always misses out on this shit, then gets guys like Oscar McDonald and Narkle in (Narkle seems like a really lovely fella too so I hate saying this) instead.

Didn't Richmond get a bloke in mid-season draft and debut him that year in a winning Grand Final?

Ethan Stanley was a good mid season get, probably could have done more but you don't die wondering with a pick up like that. seemed a good Frankston lad and got to live his dream twice. no shame in that.

Sebit Kuek holy ****, what a clueless clutz. one of the shittest players I've ever seen play. as in, even down to local footy. reportedly didn't know the difference between a Sherrin and Burley.

Getting a game every week on a 1-10 west coast team, I don't think we are missing out on much. Regardless if we didn't have any LTI it's a moot point.

I think the MSD is mostly useless and any success is luck more than anything but it would have been nice to have a pick for a HBF to cover Simpson going down so we weren't too exposed should someone else go down
