It's not Jed's fault.
The only players that succeed under this coach are those with exceptional natural talents.
Every premiership team has players in the 16-28 on the list bracket that are just good honest triers. The difference in those teams is that there is a coaching plan that defines the roles they play in a useful manner, and you can change out those bottom half players as needed and trust that the next guy in is going to play the role. We've never had that and it's one of the reasons why the supporter group has so much angst about selection of the worst player on the team. When Jed has had his turn (and it's definitely been long enough to show he isn't an AFL player at this point) the next guy will be exactly the same.
Realistically, any player on an AFL list should be able to come in and play forward pocket, get 10-15 touches, hold down their opposition player and average a bit above a goal a game. Instead we play to a crowded forward line with multiple stoppages so it becomes an extension of the midfield and the forwards get squeezed out. You need to be Chad Wingard or Robbie Gray to stand out. He made multiple AA and top 5 Brownlow finisher Travis Boak look like a plodder in a similar role.
Ken continues to set these pointless positions that seem to serve no useful role in improving our chance of winning and relies on individual brilliance of players to break through his hand brake to win games.

He's an honest battler but he has no attributes what so ever. If your going to be small you need to either be fast or have crumbing ability/elite skills/goal sense. He has none of these.

They drafted a few small forwards in the recent draft so in sure they are aware he isnt a long term propsect. Think it wont be long before Anastasopoulos cements himself.
