Analysis Mid Season Review; Where are we at and what is on the cards for us for the rest of the year?

This weekend is hugely important I think. We have a fair bit of confidence from the last fortnight but beating the Giants after they thrashed us last time out will do us wonders

Prior to GWS game:

Contested Possession Round 15 & 16: +25
Clearances Round 15 & 16: -9

GWS Smashed us in contested possession and clearances;

Contested we were -25
Clearances we were -9


Contested Possession Round 15, 16 & 17: 0
Clearances Round 15, 16 & 17: -17


I know we won but I don't think losing the contested count by 25 and winning the game will happen too often. wouldn't want to be making a habit of it.



In regards to 4th spot, IF we win this week vs Port and GWS beat the Pies.

Then our game next week vs Collingwood will be for a spot in the 4.


Don't worry about trying to get Brisbanes spot, lets take the Pies spot!

Just did the maths and it’s pretty much 99.5% we win the flag from here.

Not a bad calculation in retrospect!

And Geelong would lose every single OTHER game until the end of finals!

And Brisbane would win EVERY game until facing us twice in a row!
