MELBOURNE DEMONS! :)
well, what can i say?
i did expect Melbourne to be in a better position after 11 rounds and all i can say is that something is very wrong down at Demonland.

i think that first and for most some of our players are not stepping up, especially in our mid-field which pretty much was our strength last year.
Players like Rigoni are injured, Junior is still recovering from the knee reconstruction, Simmonds is extremly unfit from the ankle injury, Woey is just not up to scratch and Leoncelli has had a very bad month playing wise and i know that it affects his preformace because he is runned down.
Powell is one player that we can't afford to miss, he is an absolute asset to the club as is Farmer (infact out of 27 games that Farmer hasn't played in his career we only won 7.... so you can call it coincedence but we all know his presence means a hell of a lot more than we know).

Mentally i think we are even more stuffed than we are physically, the players are either taking the fact that they will get into the g/f as a walk in the park or the fire has stopped burning after we lost it last year.
either way it is affecting the team and you can't deny the fact that on Schwarta's 150th the team didn't even try to lift and win the game for a ledgend of the club who was injured.

Now after all this i still have to say one thing.... i have complete and absolute faith in my team, i believe that as long as the fire is not completely burnt out it can be re-lit and as long as the fire burns within them we will win games!

So please i urge all of you true Melbourne supporters out here to NEVER give up on our team, DON'T listen to what the critics say and just have faith that Melbourne will be stronger and better than ever come this Sunday....

GO DEES! :)

yes it was bad. what exactly do u want me to say, we were sh!t but we will get betta and yeah, i am looking forward to the 2nd half of the season. the break will do us good. refresh the batteries and prepare ourselves. (and i am sure the players will enjoy it as well :p ) nah i know they will unwind and relax and the second half of the season wil be betta. i assure u.

GO DEES !!!!!!!

I have been very unhappy with our year so far and I know injuries have not helped, but we have been pathetic. Do we actually have a mid field. They need to take a good look at themselves. I expected to be in a much better position but there are too many there that think it will just happen. Well I have news for them, it won't. They need to lift their game and fast.

don't worry or, er've been through this every second yr for the last, um, well few yrs, and i don't think anything will change this yr (sadly).
i know that i for one will NOT EVER leave them, and i'm sure most of you won't either. right???
any ways, hopefully there won't be much need for this kind of talk, coz hopefully we'll pick up a bit of pace before the end of the season. so, good luck for the second half dee boys!

GO DEES!!!

I thought we'd be SLIGHTLY better placed at this stage because Powell is so important to us. I was assuming he'd be back by now but because he won't be back this season along with Johnstone's play 2 miss 10 pattern. I doubt we can make the 8 this season.

In all 5 of our wins we trailed at some stage of the last quarter this shows us to be unconvincing in my opinion. To sum it all up our win/loss ratio is similar to last season but we are a long way behind last year really. We've had 2 or 3 shockers without any really good wins. We've had no luck with injuries & umpiring but at the end of the day no one cares who was on the park it's weather you got the 4 points or not.

We have not had one convincing win this year. Adelaide, a goal to win with 4 seconds to go.
Geelong: they got with in 2 points in the final quarter
Sydney: Trailed by 9 points in the final quarter before Robbo came to the rescue.
Fremantle: trailed at 3 quarter time before overrunning them.
St Kilda: Trailed by over three goals at 3/4 time before overrunning them.

Not one convincing win there, That is not good.
