ABC Eyre Peninsula have reported that due to the merger of Wudinna United and Central Eyre, with the new club (Central Eyre United) moving to Eastern Eyre, and West Coast Hawks and Wirrulla moving to the Western Eyre Football League, that the Mid West Football League has folded permanently.
This reduces the number of football leagues on the Eyre Peninsula from 5 to 4 (Eastern Eyre, Port Lincoln, Great Flinders and Western Eyre)
Western Eyre is the new name for the Far West FL
