Tassie in winter is just awful, so cold.
Hard to say he doesn’t have a tank when he couldn’t stay fit this year. Numbers at AFL level were promising in the 5 games he played. I think if he gets a consistent run without injury there won’t be a major issue with his tank. Will finish top 10 B&F if he stays fit and plays at least 18 games.

Seems like we're sticking with the current 4 and looking to improve their stoppage output.
Hopefully some speed on the wings and high forwards but no wholesale changes.

We will remain shit at stoppages this year then and will look horribly slow on the spread. If he can’t see that midfield mix is shocking then what hope have we got.

Last season we compounded the slow mids with slow wings and high half forwards with guys like Tresize, Ross, McIntosh and Dow. If we instead balance with speed it could work.

But he also said we would be playing both the young guys more and playing a more dynamic style.
So he didn't really tell us what the team will be doing - no surprise. But he also said that things will be changed up in 2026. SO I expect a much more dynamic midfield mix, with the younger and faster players playing more time. But we still play TT and Hopper as our main mids, with Prestia playing as much as his body allows. So I expect us to look much more dynamic at times, and still slow as treacle at times.
What I hope is that be end 2026 we are starting to look like a much more dangerous and pressuring team.

The coach has to be mindful that 2004/2005 recruits are not burnt out or injured when playing while their bodies become hardened for AFL.

Absolutely!
What matters in 2026 is that we develop our game plan and younger players. Not that we gun for the top 8. If we continue with a slower more grunt midfield overall, that's OK by me. As long as we work on getting more dynamism in there at times. If we end 2026 with a fit group of the 2024 draftees, and them having played enough time in the midfield etc to learn and develop I'll be happy. If we can start to get guys like Campbell and MRJ playing the midfield fairly regularly and they start to work well then I'll be ecstatic.
Come 2027 we should be starting to see more finished set up. 2028 we should see our midfield for the next decade start and finish games.
