And we have so many more to come back from injury.........WE'RE THE EAGLES, WE'RE FLYING HICH AGAIN.

Those 3 50m penalties each giving a freebee goal to the saints were very fair, Peter Matera was really out of ourder in saying "What was that for" to the umpire after the initial free kick. Such umpire abuse should definately get a 50m Penalty. Was Pter reported for it

isn't last year over.

Didn't 75% of footballing fan's say the Saints were going to be a finals side this year.

And didn't we beat - fairly convincingly all over the ground except on the scoreboard - which we will hopefully rectify when Cummings comes back in the side.

Cmon Frodo, getting a little carried away. We only beat last years wooden spooners and they will be thereabouts this year again. So its not a life changing win but it was a win we needed and we got it. Now we will take care of the Shockers next week and be 2 - 2 through 4 weeks

WOOHOO. I am very happy, I didn't get to see the game cause I was camping and only got updates of the score as the dockers were on the radio. I wouldn't get too carried away Frodo, it was a good win but we still have work to do. Either the saints won't go as well as almost everyone thought or the Eagles will do well. One thing yesterdays performance confirmed for me was we definately won't get the wooden spoon
