Mike Postle - possible cheating??

Lucky he's not playing with Doc Holliday or anyone else from back in the day.
Dead Mans Hand may have had a different name.

So has anyone been following this??
Google his name and you'll see the vids.
I'll leave me opinion until others have commented, but let's just say...$60k profit in a year playing 1/3 @ $800 an hour 😯😯
Seems blatant to me.

great read if you have a few minutes

Spent a few hours going down this wormhole. It's pretty obvious based on the dozens of hands provided that he knew what his insured's hole cards were.

Listened to the Mike Matusow interview and the most glaring point is that he didn't immediately refute the allegations and had lines like 'some of the things said about me online are simply not true'. If someone accused me of cheating and I was innocent I'd come out all guns blazing and be taking immediate legal action for libel.

Additionally for a guy who wants to by his own admission stay under the radar and not be well known turning up to a poker hall and only playing when the stream is running is pretty damning. Poker players are degenerates, if I was making $1000 an hour like Mike Postle I'd be wearing adult diapers and sleeping in my chair, not leaving as soon as the stream finishes each and every session.

The unfortunate thing about all this is that if someone at Stones was involved then all electrinic/software/hardware evidence of this could of already been vanished.
Postle might never face punishment for this, just never be allowed to play in a US casino again

Just caught up, watched one of the Polk videos. It's pretty clear to me, he's cheating. The odd hand play, the ridiculous winning run, the amazing "reads", the suss table movements and behavior, he's cheating.

How or what he is doing I don't know, but it clearly involves a phone or a device which my understanding was is banned during hands at the tables anyway?

This guy should be banned then prosecuted, as should the other people involved.

The 54o call on a three-bet against 2 AK’s is pretty crazy too
It's the correct call, I didn't see the hand but if two players have both have AKo and you have 54o, you are a 42.5% fav, to their 28.7% each, just ran it in an equity calculator, this is obviously preflop, and if you miss the flop then it's a pretty easy fold.

That’s if you know they have AK...
which, wait a minute..

It's an awful call. He could be up against over pairs...he's almost always 3rd best preflop with that hand. That said, his implied odds are enormous depending on how the board looks.

Sorry you misunderstood, it's the correct call preflop if you know whay they both have. Equity calculator confirms this. Hence the cheating allegations.

Exactly...

Thanks for the update, it was a huge thing for two weeks and then we've heard nothing since. His reputation is shot but hopefully there's some recovery for the affected players.

Going through the courts definitely will drag out the process but hopefully something comes from it.
