I'm glad you follow my posts. Stay on board. I'll be picking you off when 30 seconds after the election Casey goes back to running his one man show. Or can you point to anyone on his ticket that is nothing more than a yes man?

I'm not worried by that at all, seriously. The only thing I'm worried about is, is it effective, are results occurring and the fact of the matter is, is that they are.

We'll see how loose my punches are the minute Casey throws out the so called AFL approved plan, or it fails..

I can understand your grievances and point of view, but the above is not entirely true. The appointment of Campbell was a wrong decision, a big one in actual fact and if Casey looses this election he can count that decision as probably the decision that ultimately cost him is position. This garbage about dictatorship, ego etc is all crap because if the club had turned a profit of 2 million this year no one would be saying a word. Campbell screwed the club. yes Casey employed the guy, but, Did Casey see the problemwhen it arose? Yes. Did Casey do something about it? yes. Did Casey sack the guy? Yes. Did Casey do everthing possible to stop the bleeding? yes. Campbell is gone and Wright is the man now. The Marketing division is back inside the club where it should be and things are alot more stable in the running of the club and going in the right (Wright) direction.

And unlike the immediate past 2 club presidents who passed on the baton when they had their time, this one's sticking fat. Not for the good of the club, but for his own personal ego.

This is not true either, you need to examine the circumstances surrounding the departure of Daphne at least and this thing about ego is blown way out of proportion. It seems to me now days that anybody who becomes a leader or attempts to become a leader or sticks his head up to have a say about something he believes in passionately is doing it because he wants to gratify some sort of personal ego, what alot of rubbish. I've heard Casey only running because of his ego, schwab wants to be president to satisfy his ego. Ego this Ego that, well its Ego Bull$hit. These guys aren't doing it because of there Ego's, there doing it BECAUSE THEY THINK IT'S RIGHT AND WILL HELP THE FOOTY CLUB. I don't care who it is, that is why they are doing it.

The term Ego is only used as a derogatory term in order to invalidate the accused and to instill in the peoples minds that the accused is only in it for himself and not for the good of others. In other words it a way of putting the accued down in the eyes of others for the personal gain of the accuser.

Well I guess time will tell who was right and who was wrong, and whether it was about ego or for the good of the club.

For the clubs sake, I hope you're right. I hope Miller turns out to be the messiah and he's put his neck out for Casey because he thinks its in the clubs best interest.

Because this is our only chance to do something about it. If Casey stuffs up, there's no pushing him out. If there's one thing to learn from all this, this guy aint going nowhere no matter how bad a job he's doing. And all he has to do is come up with a new plan to flog, because supporters like you forget pretty quickly where the club was when he took over 5 years ago, and where it is now. And no-one, not even Greg Miller can convince me that we are better off at the end of 2004, sitting on a $2.3m loss and a wooden spoon to boot, than we were before Casey took over.

By putting Miller on the ticket just to win the election, they've created a bigger mess for themselves. Won the battle to lose the war. We'll see who comes to save the club in 2 years when Casey walks away, Wallace does to us what he did to the Dogs, doggy style, and Miller does to the RFC financially what he did to the Roos.

The alternative did not put up a challenge to oust Greg Miller. They formed to put up a challenge to the way Clinton Casey was running the club. That's why we are having an election. If Greg Miller wants to get involved, for the sole purpose of helping Casey win the election, then its an error in judgement as it compromises his position as a paid employee of the RFC.

If anyone is entitled to run for the board, it is the CEO Steven Wright. He is not because he does not help Casey win the election. Miller does.

So we have a wonderful situation where Miller reports to Wright operationally, and Wright reports to Miller as the director on the board looking after footy matters. And you think that works well?

I'll be happy to bend over and taking the ars kicking. And in turn, with the mess they've created just to win the election, it will be the clubs turn to bend over when they try to make this nonsense work. And with a wooden spoon already in the bag, I'm keen to see if it is physically possible to bend any further from the position Clinton Casey has put the RFC in.
