Article from the Age which says Miller is a near certain delisting at the end of the year.

Demons development coach Brad Gotch, who is also coach of the Scorpions, said yesterday that Miller was not in Melbourne's plans for next season but was a chance for a farewell match against North Melbourne - after 133 games with the club.
"Hopefully, another AFL club might look at him but if not I'm not sure what he's going to do," Gotch said.

A big negative is Tapscott, who injured his shoulder again in the VFL....

Exclusive Gotchy press conference transcript.
"The thing about Brad is, he's a good player. He was good on the weekend. Hopefully he can be picked up by another club and get a few more games, which would be good."

He is Brad's senoir coach so i see it as being fair enough.

With Pia's departure i feel a little less inclined to attend club functions.
I don't know, I just think someone who has played over 100 games for the MFC deserves better than to have the reserves coach announce his delisting whilst chatting to a couple of reporters after a VFL match.

I think he also mentioned that when Brad gets the ball, something tends to happen to it, which is also good.

Show a little respect guys. He was a frustrating footballer but he always gave everything he had and was from all reports a great clubman.

I remember when Watts and Miller were both playing for Casey and the Coburg players got stuck into Watts and Brad had a crack at them straight away, even though he would have known Watts was going to push him out of Melbourne. Summed up Brad as a footballer and person I think.

I also think Brad Gotch announcing this doesn't show Miller much respect at all, but if he gets a farewell game (Which he should) then it is probably fair enough.

Does anyone else think that maybe he wasn't meant to say this?

Don't get me wrong, I really really hope he goes to the Gold Coast..
It's just, well, how to be delicate... Brad was good at allowing the youngsters get some senior game experience.. That's a positive right?
Might be a better fit at GC, but most here will agree, he wasn't in our plans moving forward over the next couple of years...

EDIT: And he does have a banging hot wife..

he is a great person and has been my fav player since he started
his time was up but i do hope a team pick him up if not then he stays around the club.
i have heard the players love him and look up to him with his great leadership
he didnt have the skills to offer but definitely has the leadership and gave everything he could to the club

Guys some perspective. This is not Brad Millers exit interview!!

Although i think Gotch has put his foot in it. I'm really not sold on him, seems very amature. Nust be another one who's good out on the track during the week.

Might be missed by his team mates, but he won't be missed by the supporters. A great VFL player that couldn't deliver in the AFL. Maybe got played out of position his whole career at Melbourne. Could have made a decent half back IMO. His kicking for goal was always suspect and disappeared too easily in games.

But well done Brad on getting over 100 games with the Dees. Hopefully another team picks him up, although I'd say only the GC would be interested. We could be playing against him next season, so the pleasantries won't last long.
