MACEK has had a letter posted on PRE and suggest you CASEY supporters read it and consider it OBJECTIVELY, fearing the bullet in the barrel you think your staring down.

By the way MACEK has written a letter asking Miller to act in the best interest of the RFC assuring him that he will be free to continue his mission should he remove himself from the board election.

just one point there Gus.to say we are 4 times worse off than during our save our skins campaign is somewhat misleading if you compare today in $ terms compared back to then.

But I am also mindful that Welsh and Schwab had raised concerns repeatedly with Casey over his lack of consulting his board on financial matters, signining off the books without even showing them to his board, and over a 2 year Casey running the club as a one man show, appointing CEOs without even interviewing them, and treating the members like suckers.

Casey is the much greater of the two evils, and the board will be more accountable to its members when he's gone.

I've not seen too many posts from you throughout the year claiming Casey is a democrat anyway. If anything, you've been as concerned as anyone else with Casey's dictatorship style.

To vote for a mixed board would be very foolish and makes things worse. At least with Casey we have a good chance rex hunt will jump on and maybe even take over the presidency in due course.

We had to raise $1m in 3 months (Aug-Oct 31st 1990) or close up shop. I remember the SOS "thermometer" on the corner of Punt Road and Brunton Avenue.

After checking again the turnover around 1990 was around $3-4m. Now it's roughly 6-7 times that amount (over $22m).
