Bit of both in my opinion, how is anyone supposed to stamp their mark on a game when they are constantly being changed from one end of the ground to the other, whether that was Danihers or Sylvias fault, that is up to debate.

However, he is yet to have a good game this year thus far and is looking out of sorts whenever the ball comes near him, whether he is challenging for a mark or getting run down from behind, which happened twice in two minutes.

Worrying signs.

A bit of both I think. Obviously Fergy going down didn't help but Miller still has a hell of a lot of work to do. Got caught twice in a minute holding the ball and his marking attempts were crap.
I honestly don't think his kicking is awful, it isn't great but is serviceable and I think he needs to work up confidence. Getting beaten continuosly by Sam Power who is a fringe player at the Dogs was pretty crap as well, considering Power is a midfielder.
Play him at CHF for the rest of the year no matter what.

As the great Abe Simpson would say "a bit from column A and a bit from column B".

Sure Miller is no Jonathan Brown, but even Jonathan Brown would get confused if one minute he was playing CHF, the next he was at CHB and then back to FF and down to FB. How is he supposed to settle into the one position, and how are our midfielders meant to guess at which end of the ground Milsy is currently at?

If Neale Daniher wasn't completely useless, he would have kept Milsy at CHF (despite Ferguson's totally unnecessary injury), and thrown Jamar or White on Grant. Grant is extremely slow these days, and was only thrown up forward because Eade knew that Daniher **********s his pants the minute Miller's opponent is moved up the ground. Eade must have been laughing, it's like stealing candy from a baby!

Having said all of that, he had a stinker today. Couldn't even take a mark and his lack of footy smarts really showed.

sure, he may not have had one of his best games yesterday but what player does play well every week? maybe if he was put in one position and focused on that position he may have done a better job yesterday! he has guts and maybe we should wait and see how he does in the next few weeks before we all start saying what a ******** player he is!!!

he hasn't played well since the first rounds of last year. The gauntlet has been thrown down for him, and he isn't responding.

I want him to prove us all wrong.

Neither, to be honest. I think they guy is just completely down on confidence. We KNOW he has the ability to play at either end, and while being shifted from one end to the other isn't ideal, he should have the ability to adapt.

He was horrible today, but you can't play well every week. He just needs some confidence, and then I'm sure he can turn it around.
