Saints face criminal charges
By Michael Warner

CRIMINAL charges are expected to be laid against St Kilda footballers Stephen Milne and Leigh Montagna within days.
Milne is expected to face a sexual assault-related charge and Montagna a separate, lesser offence.
The Saints duo have been under investigation since mid-March over a late-night incident involving a young woman at a bayside home.
Both players have emphatically denied any wrong-doing.
Milne's lawyer, George Defteros, confirmed last night his client had been summoned to a second interview with detectives.
But he said police gave no indication either player would be charged.
"It's important to state again, the players have done absolutely nothing wrong," Mr Defteros said.
"We'll see how the matter develops from here."
Milne, 24, Montagna, 20, and two women are believed to have engaged in consensual sex the night after St Kilda's Wizard Cup premiership victory on March 13.
One woman claims she was later assaulted.
The players – whose mobile phones were confiscated by police – have not been interviewed since they first met detectives almost six weeks ago.
The phones were taken to examine text messages sent in the hours leading up to and following the alleged incident.
The latest development comes as St Kilda prepares for Saturday night's blockbuster against the Brisbane Lions at Telstra Dome.

Seriously, some women will debase themselves real far to get a footballer won't they? After having seen Milne on the footy show I'll have to say I was....less than impressed...with his attitude and grasp on language.
