I don't believe most St Kilda supporters would argue Milne was the better player. It is a mindless comparison that we need not get worked up over.

Both very different players, but Daicos was clearly a level above.

But that doesn't detract from the fact that Milne is one of the great small forwards of VFL/AFL history. I think we should be able to admit that.

I only went on to log my vote which was running at about 80/20. I refused to watch the video highlights just encase the rats pathetic vision came 1st on the reel. There is no way I'm going to sit through that.

I'd say the (ludicrous) comparison is due to the fact that they were both prolific non-full forward goal kickers.

But really, that's where the comparison ends. Daicos spent the first year or two (at least) as a midfielder and his career was cut short by stress fractures in his feet that Leigh Matthews wouldn't give him the chance to get over. That's basically the only reason Milne ended up kicking more goals.

Fact is, Milne isn't fit to sniff Daicos' farts through a wet towel.

True story about Tiprat related to me ......... 2010 first Grand Final and I have standing tickets behind the goals.

The ball gets kicked towards Johno and Tiprat and all I could think of is he is going to win the game for them.

Every body in front of me jumps up at this stage. At this point I am about to vomit at the thought of him winning the game for them.........that part is fact!

It felt like an eternity until I realised is was a "Collingwood" football and it bounced the right way for us. The rest is history.

In regards to Mr Magic I'm not sure you can compare him with anyone I have witnessed..........
Maybe Ablett Snr ! Both freaks and made the crowd roar every time the ball was near them.
