Are you seriously accusing Minson of being sexist now?![]()
Maybe Powerade08 is trying to oust Will as being a woman hating closet homosexual? Can you personally clarify/varify this Powerade08?

Are you seriously accusing Minson of being sexist now?![]()
Seems Port supporters make up the majority who believe that side of events. But of course, two sides to every story, and all that.fancy accusing a man who [allegedly] speaks of holding a woman down and anally raping her of being sexist
scandalous!

there are two sides to every story, but that doesn't mean both of them are equally valid.
how about we accept will's version of events for argument's sake. fancy accusing a man who speaks of having sex with another man's mother as a means to anger him of being sexist.
scandalous!
I reckon "Dom" has heard a lot worse through his afl career.yep. domenic cassisi said that in his ten year career, the two worst things he's heard on the field came out of will minson's mouth. must have been hard for dom this weekend hearing his first ever yo mamma joke
Whilst what Minson said wasn't racist - a white bloke saying he is going to *******e a black woman does have plenty of racial overtones to an aboriginal.
Have to be very mentally weak in reacting to a stranger saying they had sex with your mum
Port Adel mentally weak since 2007
Pearce baited him, Will said something stupid and if Pearce was offended then it all that was needed was an Apology from Will behind closed doors.
However Port decided to get on their moral high horse to keep the incident running so rumours could start and it ended getting blown out of proportion that now Pearce's character has taken a hit.
I reckon this is a good post by passion1930 in the last hour on the Port board.
That's all well and good but that poster still says it is fact that Minson said he help Pearce's mother down.
It is not fact. It is the allegations being made by Power supporters who are no wiser than Dogs supporters on what was said.
It is a fact and he used the word 'pinned'...came from a player who heard it from the horses mouth, to use Aker's terminology.
I think both Minson and Pearce would rather this was all put to rest, and a lesson learnt!
Minson and Picken's account says differently. They are both players too.
I think you will find that Minson initially denied it but had to admit to it once the umpire and other players confirmed Danyle's account of what took place.
i doubt Minson even thought about what he was saying as it was in the heat of battle.

Will's smart arse response seemed to be triggered from Pearce's smart arse question. Neither question nor answer was incredibly smart, but the response to this insignificant issue has been utterly outrageous.
It was an off the cuff remark that for what ever reason upset Pearce. For most players such a remark, (which I personally find sitting somewhere between stupid, somewhat lewd & somewhat funny on the sledging scale of mental/emotional anguish) would not even register a furrowed brow.
So what have we learnt... some people have different levels of tolerance for different things. Oh, and Pearce is a soft co<k.
Hardly ground breaking!
I reckon "Dom" has heard a lot worse through his afl career.
Being compared to increasingly diminutive animal faeces in regards to his captaincy and playing ability must take its toll.
Where is this admission?
It took the investigation over a day because of the initial discrepancies between the two parties. It was not consensual sex Minson stated... he used the word pinned which implies rape. Why do you think that Minson does not want to publically state what he said? You don't think that players hear taunts and goes about having sex with each others partner etc? This went to rape with violence and obviously hit a nerve for Danyle.
In this country, if the racism bow can be drawn, it will. Regardless of how long it may be.
Oh, in case you are wondering, I have worked in HR and dealt with many situations like this. Something along the lines of a determination being made by "A reasonable person given a clear understanding of the circumstances surrounding the incident".
Anyway, that's my two cents worth.
passion_1930 said:I also listened to Thomas [Port CEO on 5AA interview this arvo - he was in the studio] and he said something along the lines that Pearce went to Rhode worried about the on field fighting and wanted to explain what took place. Rhode then went to umpires and was told it was already being dealt with. Pearce's motive for going to Rhode was not to complain about the verbal stoush but more to justify the physical fighting. However, obviously he was extremely offended by the comments .
The fact Minson said a few times that he held down Pearce's mother for twenty then thirty minutes and did certain things to her may hit closer to home being Aboriginal with the high level of domestic violence and rape against Aboriginal women. Thomas said several times that you had to understand the context. The majority of us who are not in the know, will have to accept those in the know. Aker says he got what was said from Minson but Minson initially lied to the AFL investigators so he probably lied to Aker.
Danyle did not just take it, in fact he somehow threw Minson to the ground despite the difference in size. Danyle went on to be involved in the next two scores with a great delivery to Ebert ( who got cramp) I don't think it did affect his game after and he was certainly one of our best players on the day despite a heavy tag.
Give Pearce a break.

Again you are parading your own conclusions as fact.
