How did geelong supporters see Minson? He is something of a GWH for us. didnt see the game myself, so would be interested in an outsiders view of his second game - hope to take something +ve from the game

He was quite good, showed some aggression (although a bit misplaced, at times), and showed an ability to win the football.

Needs to work on his mobility and marking, but will make it.

Just wish he'd focus on the ball more than the man at times, because he's better than that.

He seems to want to deck players off the ball, and I'm not refering to the Ling one.

Outside of the Minson/Ling clash I can't say I saw him do anything untoward? He is an aggressive unit and is probably playing up to the tag a bit but I thought for the most part of the day he worked hard to simply win the footy.

The Ling hit was the only illegal (and cheap) hit, however there were a few other times where he forgot about the footy and went the man.

If i were a Doggies fan, i'd be a little worried about such a talented player feeling the need to go past the ball in order to hit someone. No courage or toughness in that.

I agree mate, thats my concern at the moment. But I feel he may be just playing up to the tough guy tag a bit. However at the end of the day I like the fact he is showing no one any respect physically and is willing to serve it up to anyone who gets in his way.

Do you think he will go for the Ling incident? I wasn't suprised he was cited but would be dissapointed if he got weeks for it.

Mooney's hit on Johnson was sensational, if he could take a leaf out of his book Minson will certainly be the sort of bloke opposition players will worry about.

I think he'll go. I'm not fussed either way (we don't play you again), but i think the combination of the facts that is was high and off the ball, and drew blood, will see him outed.

I just hope he plays a bit smarter in the future. He's too good to be doing such things. If he controls his use of aggression, he could be the next sensation of our game.

I sat in front of the benches and he is just a huge unit and at 19 with the potential to get at least stronger .When they were doing ruck practise before the game he also showed he had a big jump. You just have to play him for the rest of the year and i am sure he will learn where to run and get more confident in marking.
His aggresion would have to be a positive and again with expieriance will use it better.

I don't think off the ball agression is a long-term problem. Cam Mooney is the best example going around. If they can channel that agression to the ball, I think he could be a very good player.
