That game showed us just how good Blakely can be.
If he can play at that level he certainly can be.. Needs a clear run at it in a single position I think. Between injury, discipline and switching between half back and mid he has been unsettled for the last few years...not sure he is in our best 22 any more tbh

Just a random thought. If the Eagles are withdrawing from the WAFL this year, what happens if the travel restrictions are lifted halfway through the season. I would assume that the Dockers players will be able to rejoin Peel, but can't see the Eagles being allowed to join in the season halfway through.
Does that mean that our second tier players will be getting games at WAFL level and the Eagles will have to sit on their hands, or will the AFL decide to stop our players playing at Peel?
From the AFL regarding state leagues:
"Every AFL-listed player will be banned from playing in any state league competition that restarts this season."
So no matter what no AFL player will be joining state leagues this season.
They don't have control over the WAFL players security. A WAFL player probably has a job outside of football with lots of avenues to potentially be exposed to the virus, and then pass it to the AFL player during their interactions, who then passes it to his team mates the next week at training and the AFL is compromised. What is the reason for this ruling from the AFL ?.
I would have thought that getting game time in the WAFL would be a major bonus for players getting back to AFL standard.

Little bit shocked this wasn't a Freo player.
So Eagles player Brayden Ainsworth has to suffer for this.... And this is no fault of his own.Eagle’s step mum barred from teaching for dealing meth

On one hand this is super trash journalism. On the other hand glad it's not us this time.
Modraaaaa
Yes, as my bro in law said to me this morning, watch it between the ads.According to the online tv guide I read, that game is Channel 7's replay tonight. Interesting to see past and future Dockers players (Farmer, Chisholm, T Longmuir and White) playing for Melbourne.
RandomMeth coast are a Very bad franchise..
